We are all fighting different stages of being "under the weather" .... quite an appropriate phrase, since I believe the weather to be the culprit of our illness. Chest congestion resulting in coughing most of the night... but thankfully, most of us are sleeping through even our own coughing... those of use who stir every time our babies moves (who could that be?).. well, we are still breathing... Bed time has come a little earlier -- but not sure if that is the illness or lingering effects of time-change... NOT my favorite thing!!
Mikalah has regular intervals of outbursts during the course of the day... screaming, crying, wailing... whatever. If something simply strikes against her fancy - the neighbors know! It's getting old quickly, and I am praying for strength - but not patience! I know that patience will work it's perfect work... but I need the strength to endure to the end of that perfect work!
While I was uploading pics.. typing this.. Kyria counted to 200!! (almost all by herself).. WOW... she is growing so quickly and learning so much!
Poor Anya has had the worst of the congestion, her little chest hurts... and she has a cold sore on her tongue. She is such a sweetheart, though, with her sweet silliness shining through most of the time... but when she's cranky - WATCH OUT! :D
We had Mission's Conference at our church last week. Four missionaries in all with one to Pakistan, one to Egypt, and two to India. It was a wonderful time as we learned of the different cultures and needs... and had native drinks served (appropriate ones!). Kyria enjoyed all the videos of the missionaries... and wondered how their children could know those strange languages! :D

awww.. hope you guys feel better soon. Do you have the HINI? That is the hype here lately.
Have you ever tried Rosemary tea? Steep about 1t in a cup of hot water, and add honey or sugar for the kids. I usually let mine drink it after it cools off, and even put it in a sippy cup. It really helps chest congestion. You can also take a bath and add rosemary(just right out of your spice cabinet) or lavender oil. You can also put lavender oil right into the vaporizer... it works wonders to help with the breathing and coughs. A pastor's wife here that has 12 children taught me these tricks. Try them and see what you think:)
I hope ya'll are well soon. Continually having sick little ones can quickly tire out Mommy.
Hey Kristy, thanks for the concern, but I'm fairly certain we don't have h1n1 - though it is quite the hype here too! ... and thanks for the advice about the herbs/tea. I have tried to get my girls to drink different teas when they are congested - but to no avail. we use vicks vapor rub... and that helps a great deal (our label rubbed off, but I think it contains rosemary among its various fragrances)...
THANK you for the prayers!!
Rachel - I know you have experience behind your words! I'm glad you all seem to be better!!
