This past week was spirit week at school- and these are the pictures from Tuesday and Wednesday

and yes, I embellished a plain white T, because she didn't have any sports team shirts.... she loved it, if you can't tell :) I have some other pictures, but they are still on the camera - so, another day. Kyria is not well today. She has been sick at her tummy since about 2 this morning, though she seems to be starting to feel better. She has slept most of the morning... and is still lying down.

We had SUN come out and warm up the air a bit.... so we went out an enjoyed it IMMENSELY!! and THEN, they both took a *3* hour nap :).... oh, the wonders of fresh air!! We've all been a little under the weather and coupled with the cold temperatures, we have not been outside much in a while. This was a welcome blessing...

This week is Spirit Week at the school... I will have some pictures to post tomorrow of Kyria. Monday was Hat Day (sorry, no pic) and today was Decked Out Day - she wore her flower-girl dress :) and Wednesday is Sports Team Day - I made her an Alabama logo shirt!! Thursday is Decade Day (she'll be from another century:)), and Friday is Blue/Gold Day (school colors).

As I type this, Kyria and Anya are playing "doctor." Kyria got treasure chest today in school, and a little doctor kit was what she picked. She has a stethoscope, a "needle" (syringe) and a checkup list :).... pretty cute. Kyria is following Anya around saying, "I need to give you a shot." and to those of you who know my husband - this is not a good thing!! Just the thought, mere mention, of a needle and he is ready to pass out - goes pale, cold sweats - the WORKS - so, I think it's KINDA FUNNY!

amended: it is not a syringe but a thermometer. When I told Kyria that (after I really looked at it) she said, "I know, we're just pretending it's for shots." so. there. Now you know.

BUT... it was fun, and colorful... and occupied them for a while in which I cleaned up the rest of the kitchen! YEAH :) No one liked any of the candies (I know, I have strange kids) except Mikalah - whose middle name seems to be SUGAR, GIVE ME SUGAR!!! So, some of it was eaten... :)

WOW... I'm a bit behind the action here!! so much going on... The girls had a great Christmas - John and I did too!! :D He had almost a full 2 weeks of vacation - YEAH.... we relaxed and had fun. As you can see - Mikalah keeps us laughing :) --she's the one hanging upside down!! We have fought some sniffles, but PRAISE THE LORD, we have not been very ill so far this winter. God sends us so many blessings! Kyria has new school shoes - nice ones - from the thrift store!! barely any wear on them!! Anya was given a nice church coat; thus Mikalah now has Anya's old coat. I have been commissioned to make several sewing pieces - clothing and purses - And I am loving it!! I have made as well as fixed several items for Kyria for school - which she is LOVIN', by the way. She is reading and is SOO excited. She tries to sound out every word she sees... but, of course, not all words fit into the rules she has learned so far... so it can be interesting :D... The girls received several nice toys for Christmas - so they have been busy making even MORE messes :D

well, I must run for now... but there are some other pictures (we made a gingerbread house - well, the icing was runny and the girls did all the decorating!! so... it's pretty FUN!!) I must share SOON!!
