Sonbeams-preschool info-Raising up sunbeams for HIM!

From the author:
"Have a preschool age child? Looking for school ideas to do at home? Have a limited budget, one income family? Looking for a Christian based product that will not only teach your child ABC's and 123's, but also the Word of God? Look no further! Sonbeams is designed to meet each of these needs."
I have gotten this product and am so excited to begin it with my own child.  It is everything I wanted to do, but just couldn't get out on paper to organize it. I believe it will be a great help to any mother of preschool children-whether you plan to homeschool exclusively or not. There is a link on the side...

Kyria...

Kyria's Choir...Sunday, August 17...."I Love the Bible"

SILLY face ! ! ! ! !
Loving my little sis...
Aren't we sweet?
Kyria is getting so "grown-up" so fast.  She loves to be a helper--even WANTS to wash the dishes :) though she still needs some practice at getting more than one or two items clean in a 30 minute window!! We are going to start some informal schooling this fall...she knows so much but needs a little help in getting some things straight-like eleventeen NOT coming after 14.  She has learned how to write by trying to copy me and her ABC writing book, but of course a little training is required (and I don't want her to get too many bad habits before starting school). She is excited about her new baby sister-she even picked the middle name. That made her so happy! She is a good big sister, and I am blessed to have her as my big girl!
Thank you for stopping by....
have a blessed day, whoever and wherever you are!

Anya...

Like my socks??
They are my daddy's....
Singing---even while cuddling........
WOW--what a smile.......she's becoming such a HAM!
How fast they grow...My baby is almost 17 months, and we have another one coming....God is so good to us. Besides her eczema, Anya has been a very healthy child...of course she gets her share of scrapes trying to keep up with big sister :)! Her speech is still not very intelligible...but she tries SOO hard. Some of her sounds are starting to make sense to me....and she understands so much...and she LOVES her Daddy...that is the one thing she says very clearly !!

uppercase living decor

I have a friend who is starting in this home business.  It is a very neat product-I love it!  It is relatively new, so I had not heard of it before she began it.  She has her own site
http://cathyl.uppercaseliving.net
There is a link under my 'friendly links" on the sidebar. Going there will explain it all better than I could...please visit and enjoy!  (and buy through her, please, if  you like it!!)
Also...I will be putting up a link for Sonbeams-Raising up sunbeams for HIM! It is a preschool curriculum. I have recently purchased it and am so excited about it!

Children's Music Night

We just had a Children's Music Night at our church. It started the Sunday PM service.  We had several groups of children (age 4 years through 6th grade) sing Bible songs and play instruments. It was such a blessing to see these children praise the Lord with music. Kyria sang a duet with a little friend.  They sang: "Get the New Look" and "The B-I-B-L-E"...they were all soooo cute!
You can watch the video of all the children's music from that evening at our church's website (link on the side). Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

VBS

We just finished our VBS, and this year Kyria was old enough to go.  She is growing up so fast!! She enjoyed being a pirate with her friends.
They had all kinds of neat crafts and learned about the Bible being the best treasure ever! There was even a BIG ship!!
One evening a neighbor friend was able to come with her. She was so excited. It is wonderful to see young ones be excited about going to church.
Thank you for stopping by............................
