yes, it's been COLD!

she was 11 1/2 lbs. at her 1-mo. checkup!

A smile!!  I got a smile on camera!!!

Yes, we had a RABBIT in our front yard. It has gone home (or at least left our yard), but it hung around for a few hours today. The girls had fun watching it from the window.

Please pray for me as I am functioning (sometimes) on little sleep. I know all mothers out there know what I mean and how much prayer is needed to get through these days. Just knowing that others understand makes difference. I had a friend come over to help me clean today. Her little boy played with Kyria and Anay. We didn't get a lot done that you could see, but just the lift in my spirits is worth more than all the cleaning anyone could do - Thank you, Cathy!! And it is wonderful to hear your children laughing and having fun, too!!

Recent "memories"

Taking pictures  captures a moment... 

and reminds us of the blessings when the moment is gone...

these are just some blessings from the last month...

On an "information note": 

Anya is talking more than ever, and I can actually understand some of it :)  She loves to say "see you" when we're playing.  It seems she says something different every day--though not the same things over and over... She says "Daddy" very well, and calls me "Nonny"--HA :). Mikalah is "diddy" (for "baby") When I change Mikalah, she loves to say "o-o-o-o-o... yucky" until it gets put in the trash. Kyria is being the good big sister... she loves to be a helper, and sometimes gets a little TOO big for her "britches" :) Mikalah is doing better in the sleeping department--PRAISE THE LORD!! though some nights the initial getting to sleep is a dramatic production to put Broadway to shame! :) She is getting sooo big, and is quite alert when she is awake. Her eyes seem to take it all in, and everyone falls in love with her. (of course, who doesn't fall in love with a baby??) John has been done with his full teaching load for about 3 weeks now, and it is amazing the difference! He loves the computer work he is doing, and he loves having more time to do it!! :) I enjoy being "wife" and "mom" and "friend." I help John whenever I can and have learned more about html and f-stop and aperture than I can actually process :) but it is fun. I want to learn and understand, but just hearing it repeatedly will have to do for now (I think it helps John remember it when he has to tell me over and over again! :) HAHAHAhahaaaa!)

I know that she is not what she was, but God has blessed America greatly. We must remember to pray for her more than ever before. May God's people turn their hearts toward Him and pray!

Missions Conference up soon

Getting ready for Mission's Conference

We start our Faith Promise Missions Conference tomorrow. We are looking forward to what God is going to do. We are excited to meet new missionaries and hear about their fields. We have 4 missionaries coming, and the children will have their own special "passports" to take notes in and read about the missionaries. 

Please pray for the children in our church and school (and the adults too) to have open hearts when they hear the preaching...and that all will be open to God's leading in giving. 

Remember, we can do anything God tells us to do--He WILL provide!
