More Pictues....sweet babies

Their first glimpse of Mikalah...
they were star-struck :)
another sleeping beauty in the family......
Kyria loves her baby!
but Anya thinks the baby is HERS! :)
Hopefully they can learn to share her :)
Kyria and Anya totally enjoy Mikalah-as of now :). Anya seems to think she's been given a live toy!! We will see how she does now that we are home. She says "dede" for baby, and does not seem confused that she is here.
Kyria is, of course, wanting to be the little mommy--she will be my big helper, as usual. During the girls' second visit to the hospital, Anya truly seemed to believe Mikalah was HERS....that is the picture of her "hugging" the baby. She tried to grab her from me. John had to take Anya out and distract her with getting a drink so Kyria could have a chance to hold her. She just loves being a big sister.
John has been as wonderful as ever. He is the best husband-and I love him for it. He has learned quickly just how long it can take to get ready for church :) as well as how difficult it can be to keep up with little shoes (especially when one little one LOVES to play with all the shoes!).  His willingness to do things that are the "mommy's job" just because he loves the mommy :) makes him so dear to me. I praise the Lord for giving me to John and John to me.
Thanks for stopping by, and  have a blessed day....!

FINALLY....

Well, we rushed to the hospital and about seven and a half hours later, around 7:45AM this morning Mikalah was born! Praise the Lord, everyone is healthy and Tascha seems to be doing better at this stage than with any of the others.  Thank you for your prayers.

Not yet....

I keep hoping and praying that the next post will be with BABY PICTURES!! but alas, not yet... I really like my doctor and the convenience of being close to this hospital-but they will not induce until 41 weeks unless there is a problem--I guess hardly being able to walk is not what they were talking about :) As you can see, I have not actually made it to my "due date" yet, so- we'll see. Kyria was born 2 days after hers, and Anya was born 1 day before hers. Anyway, We are praying for soon, still.  My next appointment is next Thursday.  If I make it, I think I'll just sit in the doctor's office until he does SOMETHING :)....
Thanks for praying, and thanks for stopping by....

7 Days and counting...

I think this might be my first post on here. I am the husband, John. Although for my wife life is not usual, to the children(myself included) things at least SEEM normal. In fact, my oldest daughter and I went camping again in the backyard last night. It is so wonderful to be able to do these things with my daughter. What a joy it is when she smiles SO big because we are just doing something with HER. Those moments we spend out in the tent will live on in my heart forever. If we keep this up we might need to eventually get a bigger tent. Well, my poor wife is hanging in there, pray for her and our coming daughter. Maybe our next post will be with little baby pics.

10 days left...

So the "Due Date" says :)....not much progress...but still praying.  The house looks like a bomb went off, so have not taken many pics of the girls...at the moment I am too weary and uncomfortable to think about it.  They are as adorable as ever.  Anya has started saying some things more intelligibly--like 'Bible' and 'eat' and [where] 'is she?' and [there] 'she is' (speaking of Kyria). Pray all is well around your worlds.
Thanks for stopping by....

The Simple Woman's Daybook

Well, Rachel...Jennie....here we go :)
The Simple Woman's Daybook
Outside my window...
is bright sunshine and leaves slowly turning colors
I am thinking...
absolutely NOTHING!
I am thankful for...
my hubby--God bless him, he does so much for me right now.
that my baby is headed for heaven--see post below!
From the kitchen...
dishes, trash, and dinner have my name on them.
I am wearing...
my LARGEST skirt and top :)
I am creating...
the last baby fat before this little one comes to meet us.
I am going...
no place today--at least not as of right now-but that is subject to change :)
I am reading...
Christian Womanhood Magazine, and anything that will put me to sleep at night!
I am hoping...(praying)...
to have to leave for the hospital in the next 24 hours--and I will be praying that UNTIL I GO!
I am hearing...
runny noses, and Curious George
Around the house...
a toy here, and a toy there....
One of my favorite things...
when John comes home everyday!
A few plans...
drs appt tomorrow, church on wednesday....unless I'm having a baby!
Picture thought...
self explanatory :)

Angels are singing!!

As I sat on the couch this morning -just wishing for a little more sleep, I received a phone call from my husband-on his way to church with the girls.  My little Kyria had wanted to talk about asking Jesus to be her Saviour, so John pulled over to the side of the road and got in the back seat with her. She knows all about it as we speak of it often, but this time she made the decision to pray for herself! It was most definitely the BEST phone call I ever received, and I had a very peaceful sleep shortly after that!
The Lord has blessed my family and me far above anything I could ever have dreamed. I have been praying for Kyria to realize her need for PERSONALLY asking Jesus to save her. We talk of it often, as I said; but she didn't really seem to get the personal part...Praise the Lord, she does now!
I am still just praying, hourly, that that Mikalah will come-NOW...but I know that God knows best.  So I also pray for the strength I need to just make it to the bathroom :) or the kitchen or to pick Anya up out of her crib or to read a book on the floor--yes, I still sit on the floor, though it is comical to watch me get up!
Thanks for stopping by...can you hear the angels singing?
