Sunday night kids...

My Lord....

The children kinda spread out over the steps... so you see only about 1/2 of them in this video....

the DRESS

Kyria's dress....
I promised pictures...

the bodice...
the scalloped sleeve
the waist
beginning the split skirt
with scalloped edge...
semi-full effect...
the back...
it is hard to see in the picture... but there is an insert panel in the center of the back... and it was longer in the back than the front... though it did not touch the ground... she was truly a princess!! :D She wore my tiara from my wedding... so she felt extra special... which she is. When we got home and were changing, she said she would put the dress on my sewing desk because "she will not ever wear it again." When asked why - she said, the wedding is over.... but I may adjust it some to be her Easter dress in the Spring :D we'll see...

where... oh where...

has Mikalah gone?

Where... oh where...
can she be?

oh

THERE SHE IS!!

love that smile!
her favorite expression is:
WIDE OPEN MOUTH

I'm gonna get you, Momma!
Here I come!
Watch out!

and if I ever need to distract her
while doing something in the kitchen
I just turn the light on in the oven!

I know - it IS pretty cool :D

guess now I know where she gets that...

WIDE OPEN MOUTH look

Life during the day without Kyria has taken on a life of its own... We have fun, the house is even more tornado-like (which I did NOT think was possible!), there are different kinds of questions and different kinds of discussions as Anya discovers some more independence... and MIKALAH STARTS WALKING!!! Did I mention that MIKALAH IS WALKING???? Ok, so now ... life as we have come to know it in the last weeks without Kyria - is going to get ANOTHER facelift!

Kyria is doing wonderfully in school. She loves it! Her prayer request each evening, though, is that her classmates will obey and not talk during nap time - she likes her naps! But after school she enjoys getting to know some of the other teachers, and I think they enjoy her too. *smiles* She is loving her piano lessons and memorized Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star the second day! I will try not to brag TOO much, but I am very proud of the little girl she is! and I pray she continues her path of wanting to do right to make Jesus happy all her life!

MIKALAH IS WALKING!!! Did I mention that already? :D

Well, I will have pictures next week of Kyria being a flower girl... she is pretty excited. If I can, I will post pix of her dress tomorrow. It is coordinating with the bride's dress - and we didn't even know it! :D

Well, God is good... and our family is well... Praise HIM!!

favorite... snack?

Anya's all time favorite snack is black olives -

she calls them ojoves.

And she always has to have at least

5

so she can do

THIS:

"mom, 'coumpt' with me"

1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5

She loves 'coumpting' almost as much as she loves black olives!

not the normal - everyday - kid snack - but Kyria and Anya both love eating them... and could eat them for every meal...

black & white... notes & keys...

and one custom bag for lesson books!

all set
Kyria's piano lessons begin tomorrow! And I made this bag for her to carry her books in. I loved the fun polka-dots - and the blue is a light denim - so fairly durable! :D FUN TIMES! i will take some pix with her and her new bag tomorrow - when she is all ready to GO.
