Children just make life beautiful...

There is a commercial for Lindt truffles that says:
"Do you dream in chocolate?"
and EVERY time we see it,
Kyria says,
"We don't dream in chocolate;
we dream in our beds!"

And with that...
I bid you a wonderful Christmas
filled with the wonder of children!
Thanks for stopping by...

Just some more CHEER!!

"Isn't she sweet?"
"OH - I caught it!"
(but WHAT is IT??)
(false alarm)

"OH - OH - I love her, too!!!"
These were taken the same time as the others... just did not have the time to post them all before.  We are nearly ready for Christmas. Grandma gave us a calendar with a verse and picture for each of the 25 days of Christmas, and Kyria has greatly enjoyed reading the Christmas story this way. She gets soooo excited each night to read another verse. On Christmas day, we will read all the verses in order.
Our church's Christmas Cantata is this Sunday evening. Please pray that all goes well. Kyria's choir class sings that evening also, so I will post that as soon as I can (providing I remember the camera!!) :D
Thanks for stopping by...
If I post no more before next week -
HAVE A
BLESSED
AND
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

"Look, it's SOOO 'spinny'!!"
"Don't I have a pretty dress?"
"This is so much fun!!"
"Mommy, she's so soft..."
"Oh, it's just such a pretty tree..."

new site

Well, I know it's not spectacular - I am definitely in the baby learning stages, but I have updated our family's website. I am in a SLOW process of learning how to really do this  (I am expecting years before I understand ANYTHING!), but we have a program that uses templates (much like blogger) - so I can play and learn at the same time :).
I am sure this is more exciting to me than to most of you, but I just wanted to give an update. I should have some new pictures to post Friday or Saturday.
We have the staff Christmas luncheon at church today, so that should be great fun!
Thanks for stopping by...

We pray you all had a blessed Thanksgiving Day!

A new look!

For those of you who do not know, John took over doing our church's website this past summer (and lots other computer "stuff"). He has learned a lot in a short time :) but had to take a break from doing much with the web-site when he had to get the grade program ready for the new school year and teach full-time for the first quarter, as well as his other duties. Now that he has had time to breath, this is his first completed project on the site - YEAH!! So go to mountainviewbaptist.org and click on the Missionaries link to see it. I, of course, think it is wonderful! (I'm his biggest fan!)
I am working on getting pictures from our Thanksgiving Day fun ready to post. We had a great day with friends, and the girls got to play at a park - so it was a GOOD day :D !!
Thanks for stopping by...
should have pictures up later today.
