"welcome" ... for the grandparents

Kyria's Classroom

Kyria's name on the door

open the door...

Kyria's desk

Kyria had a wonderful first week at school. And we are praying for an equally great week now !! One of the teachers asked her what her favorite part of school was and she said - learning and lunch! (haha) but her most favorite part was riding to school with daddy!! Such a sweetheart !

On Wednesday, she will be starting piano lessons. She is pretty excited about that, too. :D

Anya is adjusting to being without her big sister during the day. She does well - playing with Mikalah and by herself.

Mikalah has had more and longer periods of playing by herself, also - which is a blessing! As long as they are in the same room that I am, they seem to play just fine... but they DO love to be in the same room with me!!

John is busier than ever... I shall not even try to list all his activities!

I am just as busy as ever... and for those who know how much I enjoy computer graphics and design... check out our truescripturegraphics. It is a new adventure for us... and we are praying for the Lord to bless.

and with another classmate...

aren't they cute??

sweet sisters

It has been an interesting day without Kyria here. We will all be glad to see her this evening! She will become part of the highlight of my day - which is when John comes home. I can't wait to hear all the exciting things that transpired today!

playing catch-up

with pictures!

Sweet sisters...

these PJs were mine when I was this size!!
SUCH a cutie!!
she loves knowing she is wearing Mommy's PJs
from when she was a little girl just like her! :D

and THIS
is my TORNADO
in a DIAPER!!
John nik-named her that!
she made that entire mess
- in less than 2 minutes!!!!!

Well, we have had a whirlwind summer.. isn't summer supposed to be lazy and fun?? Oh well, we had fun.... but weren't so lazy :D Kyria started school TODAY - but I will post about that a little later. These pics are from when I managed to remember that I have a blog to update :D and grandparents to send pictures to!!! :D
Mikalah is TRYING to walk. She is not soo steady unless she is holding on to something; but it is just a matter of days!
Anya is getting soo big. She is being a good big sister for Mikalah and a great little sister for Kyria.
Kyria is expressing her independence and learning where the bounds of it are. She is such a sweet girl with such a strong sense of right and wrong - when she's thinking about it :). We praise the Lord that she truly desires to do right and that others have noticed it. We pray that she continues this path always - and that she is an example for others to follow! She will also be starting piano lessons next week... FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
John has a few added administrative responsibilities for school - so he's busier than EVER.... and it just keeps going...
I am THANKFUL FOR MY WASHER!! as I was without one for about 3 weeks!! God is good to provide.. and my Hubby is wonderful! We have friends that care and check on us - on ME - to be sure we are OK and help us with things that we have NO clue about :).
God provides in ways and through people that we would never imagine.... and he is NEVER late!!
well, I will be posting a couple pics of Kyria on her first day of school soon - probably during NAP time :D.
until then...
