fun times...

So... just before nap-time  yesterday I hear, "Mom, Anya got this..." and then Kyria hands me the tube of diaper rash cream.....

Anya loves to put on lotion by herself
She has extremely dry skin
and we try to put lotion on regularly

but she usually ASKS first :D

and this lotion doesn't "rub in"

and it doesn't rinse off either....
 it was BATH TIME!

but then....
after Anya was all clean and in bed....

Kyria washed dishes
WHAT A SWEETIE!!!

and in nursery last night
Mikalah was all smiles
(for a while)
SUCH A DOLL!!!
We have some fun days around here... And sometimes I get them documented :D
Praying your days are just as fun!!

pretty babies

Howdy everyone!
this is a classic Mikalah greeting...

OH MY
this is just classic Anya !!

We are having VBS this week at our church
Rome: Road to Redemption...

so Kyria is a little Roman girl
with some interesting faces....
and poses...

We got a little kiddie pool with a slide...
here are the girls out in it the first evening
after John set it up

here are just a few cuties from around the house...

umm?
yes, I know I'm silly...
but I love my sister!
Isn't she cute?
All is well and God is good. Kyria is having a blast at VBS, and I am watching the workers babies in the nursery each evening - that's where some of the pictures came from.
Pray you all have a great day...

on being an AMERICAN in 1907...

Words spoken by Theodore Roosevelt,
the 26th President of these United States

'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.'

Little faith in a strong plank will carry me over the stream,
great faith in a rotten plank will land me in the stream.

Courage is not the absence of fear,
but rather the judgement that something else is more important.
